Pencast Lectures
A pencast is basically a recording of your writings or drawings, typically with an explanatory voice over.
The pencast format allow students to gain or recap new knowledge of academic points and concepts, models, graphs, formulas or arguments and is as such often found as a welcomed and motivating teaching activity for students to study outside the classroom.
In this workshop you will learn how to use pencasting methods to explain formulas, highlighting important points, draw concepts and more.
At the workshop you will get:
- Hands-on experience with the pencasting tool “Explain Everything”
- Insight and inspiration into the many ways of pencasting
- Started with your own pencast lecture
Who is the workshop for?
The workshop is aimed at lecturers at SUND. There are no prerequisites for participation.

2 hours
Language:
This workshop is conducted in Danish unless English is preferred.
Practicalities:
The workshop emphasizes hands-on exercises. Please bring your own laptop.
