How do I save my recording of my Zoom HyFlex lecture?

 When recording from Zoom, the recording is saved as a temporary file on the hard drive of the computer you initiated the recording from. Once the meeting is ended by the host, Zoom immediately starts to convert the file to a readable video format (MPEG4). Depending on the computer and the length of the recording this can take from a few minutes to 15-20 minutes.

When the conversion starts (e.g. from your laptop), you can close the lid of your computer and let the conversion finish at another time. In most cases it is also possible to restart the conversion from the temporary file.
