Revolutionize your visuals with AI
Join the workshop on AI-visuals if you're looking to up your game when it comes to new opportunities with images and illustrations. You will learn how to generate custom images for your teaching.
Artificial intelligence (AI) has been making waves in many industries, and now it's set to revolutionize the world of visuals. COBL is now offering a new workshop that focuses on the visual side of AI, where participants can learn how to generate custom images for their work using AI algorithms.
In this workshop participants learn how to use the new AI-tools where you write a text prompt and quickly thereafter get a usable image. Whether it's for everyday situations or thought-up examples like "a giraffe riding a bicycle," participants will learn how to create images that can be used freely in their work, e.g. visualizing concepts or provoking critical thinking in their teaching activities.
The instructor for the workshop is Gert K Nielsen, who works as a motion graphic designer at COBL. He has been studying the development of visuals in artificial intelligence since the initial closed beta versions and uses AI in his work already today.
The interest in the use of AI for visuals is sky-high, and I have already given some well-received talks on the topic – I am confident the workshops will be rewarding, and we should all learn more about the new possibilities.
The workshop will cover topics such as
- Introduction to AI algorithms for image generation
- Selection of fantastic AI illustrations,
- AI bias and copyright
TRY OUT THE AI YOURSELF
Participants are not required to have any prerequisites other than the desire to learn more about the subject and the willingness to try AI in practice. However, those who want to try AI themselves will need to bring their own computer. Some AIs can be run from the browser, but more advanced AIs may require software installation.
The workshop will run for 2½ hours, and participants will be treated to a lecture and exercises that will leave them visually exhausted when it's done. The workshop will be held in Danish on May 25th, while the next two workshops on August 28th and November 1st will be held in English.
If you're looking to up your game when it comes to visuals, this is the perfect opportunity to do so.
