Navigating AI: A quick beginner's workshop on prompting techniques
This 1-hour workshop is designed for educators at SUND with limited or no prior experience with AI chatbots - just bring your curiosity and readiness to learn!
We will explore the ins and outs of how to use generative AI. The focus will be on designing effective prompts, considering the possibilities and limitations of the current models.
The goal is to demystify the practical use of the available tools and explore ideas on how to utilize them in our daily tasks.
The workshop will focus on:
· Understanding the capabilities and limitations of generative AI (such as ChatGPT).
· Discussing the importance of validating outputs and designing effective prompts.
· Prompt crafting.
· Sharing experiences and discussing potential in teaching.

Who can participate?
This workshop is for SUND educators who have limited or no experience and would like to learn more about AI chatbots and prompting.
Limitations:
There must be a minimum of 6 participants registered for the workshop to be held.
There is a maximum of 25 seats available for each workshop.
