My official title is ‘professor with special responsibilities in blended learning and engagement in education’. What exactly does that mean? I am interested in everything that supports student-centered learning. Learning happens through reflection, not listening - and requires blended learning environments, safe learning spaces and congruence in study programmes.

I am particularly interested in competence development of teachers, involvement of students and capacity building within the faculty.

When I am not working at COBL, I am many things, including teacher, supervisor, mentor and even a researcher investigating fancy proteins that make it possible that your heart beats.
