Virtual reality

Virtual reality har fået meget opmærksomhed de seneste år. Det skyldes primært at ny forbedret VR teknologi – såkaldte VR headsets eller head-mounted displays – er kommet på markedet til en brøkdel af hvad lignende teknologi tidligere kostede.

VR headsets, som ligner højteknologiske dykkermasker med en skærm i stedet for glas, kan give dig følelsen af at stå i en anden virkelighed, hvor dine omgivelser er erstattet af en digital simulation.

Mange store virksomheder, så som Google og Samsung, har udviklet deres egne VR headsets. Drivkraften bag udviklingen er brugen af VR headsets i underholdningsbranchen, men de kan også bruges i undervisningen.
