Two Health MOOCs starting again today

The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences' two popular Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) are opening new sessions today. Thousands of learners from across the world are getting ready to learn about Diabetes and Global Health.

The course An Introduction to Global Health was the University of Copenhagen's very first MOOC, and the session opening today marks the fourth time that a global audience can follow the five week course brought to you by the lecturers from the School of Global Health and several other departments at the University.

The other course, Diabetes - A Global Challenge, is an introduction to the many facetted diabetes research that is anchored at the Department of Biomedical Sciences. The session that startes today is the third time the Diabetes course opens its doors.

Both online courses are produced by the UCPH MOOC Unit, which is an integrated part of the Centre for Online and Blended Learning. On our page about MOOCs we have more information for lecturers who are interested in developing their own open online course.
